Hire Americans First
October 14th, 2007
It is commonly estimated that 5% of the population in the united States of America is here illegally which, as we have pointed out elsewhere makes them criminals. The unemployment rate in the united States of America has been in the mid 4% range for years now. As a matter of fact, the six year low, at the time of this writing, is 4.4% and is currently 4.7%. What readers should note when considering these numbers is the unemployment rate only measures those who are actively receiving unemployment compensation checks. It does not measure those who were unable to gain employment before their benefits ran out.
Some of these Americans lose their homes and all of their possessions adding the the thousands of homeless in our streets across the country. They lose their self respect and confidence which further confounds their chances of gaining employment. Let's face it, would you hire someone who was filthy in ragged clothes with no address? Most people wouldn't, because these people do not appear to be stable.
Some of these people have families or friends to lean on and eventually get work, but still lose many of their possessions getting "back on their feet".
It should not be considered a coincidence that the number of unemployed in the united States of America matches so closely with the number of criminal immigrants permitted to remain in our country by our government. It seems that the solution to the unemployment problem in the united States of America is a simple one.
